This first blog is for anyone new to my writers site. It will help anyone get a deep and internal look into my mind and my personality. This will help you understand why i write the way i do and why certain topics are meaningful to me. The blog itself is and answering to the famous Proust questionnaire, composed by well known author Marcel Proust. There is a link below in case anyone is interested in taking it yourself and finding out more from answering such deep and revealing questions. __1.__What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Due to my empathetic nature, what gives me enjoyment is making someone else content with their life. On a material level, eating an amazing meal with someone i love who shares that feeling is fairly ideal for me. __2.__What is your greatest fear? I’m still young. Haven't quite found it yet. But I am scared of the future and the possibility of leading a failed or boring life. __3.__What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? I was brought up by parents who are a tad bit judgy and close minded. I fear being like them and have been in the past. So in turn I hate my brought up snobyness and somewhat close mindedness. __4.__What is the trait you most deplore in others? I most deplore people’s inconsideration for another person’s well being to the point where they are willing to cause harm on a personal level and not care about such harm. I think in general if people were more empathetic people would be a bit more morally perfect in their actions. __5.__Which living person do you most admire? My old writing/literature teacher went through many careers, many different states of mind and many different faiths and became a very knowledgeable person. I would like to be like him someday. __6.__What is your greatest extravagance? My father was a chef from France and once owned a restaurant in west chester that earned him a decent amount of money. This helped us travel to many locations when i was younger that many don't have the privilege of getting to visit and I obtained a desire for adventure and trying new things that many don't have. I somewhat pitty people with this “boxed in” mentality. __7.__What is your current state of mind? I am at peace in life. Getting plenty of sleep and handling my head and problems effectively. I am excited for the future because i have a plethora of learning and adventuristic opportunities and like to think i’m always adapting for the better. __8.__What do you consider the most overrated virtue? I think a virtue that is often overrated and over enjoyed is the “living in the moment” mentality that many people have. Sure it’s enjoyable but many people need to focus more on the grand scheme of things in life to be consistently happy but maybe that’s just my mindset that works for me. __9.__On what occasion do you lie? At times when i am with friends i am comfy with and i utilize a sarcastic sense of humor. Which was somewhat passed down from my father. __10.__What do you most dislike about your appearance? I dont dislike much, but perhaps my hair and some of my weight. Although i work on the latter somewhat so im content with it. __11.__Which living person do you most despise? I dont have much hate towards people, i dont see the point in it __12.__What is the quality you most like in a man? In a world with alot of dishonest and unloyal men, i appreciate any man willing to commit to someone or something. __13.__What is the quality you most like in a woman? I appreciate a woman with a strong head who can be independant and positive. __14.__Which words or phrases do you most overuse? I like to use percentages alot. And say the word “coolio” alot. __15.__What or who is the greatest love of your life? I enjoy attempting to find out what love is though all it’s failures and successes. Also food is great. __16.__When and where were you happiest? I have euphoric memories of my old summer camp or being in Paris, France as a child __17.__Which talent would you most like to have? I wish i had the ability to sing well and confidently. __18.__If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? My nose, i’d rather it didn't exist due to it being nasty tired of my nose related allergies. __19.__What do you consider your greatest achievement? Getting over my emotions and becoming in control in life. __20.__If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? Probably a beaver, they seem fairly simple and cute. __21.__Where would you most like to live? Exton around here... But i love to travel. __22.__What is your most treasured possession? I dont treasure many possessions. __23.__What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Being literally stuck in life and that stuckness leading to a form of depression, apathy, lonliness and lack of motivation. __24.__What is your favorite occupation? I am unsure having only ever worked as a waiter for the elderly. But i love to cook so ill say being a chef. __25.__What is your most marked characteristic? I am renowned by my friends and family for my empathy. __26.__What do you most value in your friends? In the past i've known alot of people who are overly negative and in turn bring me down so i've grown to desire friends with a strong positive and productive vibe. __27.__Who are your favorite writers? John Brunner, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, George Orwell, Kurt Vonnegut Jr. __28.__Who is your hero of fiction? Without much thought I would say Luke Skywalker but ther’s probably somebody that fits this question better that ill put in the future. __29.__Which historical figure do you most identify with? I would never claim to identify with historical figures since they are typically from incredibly different situations and have often accomplished things i wont, at least not any time soon. __30.__Who are your heroes in real life? I dont have many “heroes” or even role models but i always admired Ignaz Semmelweis for sticking to his guns even when everyone thought he was crazy and eventually make him crazy. He was the man who theorized that hand washing might cut down illness. __31.__What are your favorite names? Bowie, Brian, Milo, Dante, Danny, Natalie, Eva, Faith, Arabella, Kira, Misty, Ellie. __32.__What is it that you most dislike? Inconsiderate people, lazy cooks, lazy people, close minded people, overly judgy people, fast food, people who do things in extremes. __33.__What is your greatest regret? Not being self aware of my problems before they affected my life. Being self aware had really helped me progress and be more rational/positive. __34.__How would you like to die? I haven't given that much thought, but i definitely want to die before my body is at an awful point of dysfunction. I work at a nursing home so i've seen that before at many different ages. __35.__What is your motto? “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”-My Neighbor Totoro
